I have always loved having Schubert's Ice Cream accross the street. I grew up in Chico; so going to Schubert's is "being home". The facilities are always clean. The noise levels at night are usually acceptable. Parking can be a problem if the place is full, as it usually is.

The location was perfect... walking distance to all the bars, restaurants... just 5 minute walk. Next door is a little ice cream parlor, and also a restaurant. It was very clean and the rooms looked newer. It was super quiet (although we did ask for a quiet upstairs room... room 220 was quiet! The beds were comfy. Parking was super easy and free. The receptionist was very very nice and energetic!

Located near the downtown area with plenty of shops and loads of restaurants. Chico Natural Foods Cooperative just across the street. Lots of construction workers use this motel, so more than half the vehicles in the lot were trucks. But rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Even had a tub. Great price, too, and desk staff was super helpful.

Hostess for check in was personable, cheerful and accommodating - offered a free upgrade to a spacious room with king size bed at check in! The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was fantastic, and the location is great. The room is equipped with refrigerator and microwave, with good light fixtures for bedside reading.

The bed was incredibly comfortable. Good coffee, spacious clean rooms. Close to everything, shopping, food, entertainment. Shuberts is right across the street, Dutch bros is walking distance. Staff was so nice, I forgot to request a room downstairs due to a disability and they happily got us a downstairs room easily.

The location was good for where my meeting was that night. And it felt like Chico—which was very nice. I wasn’t able to enjoy the breakfast because the hours ended too quickly and did not go late enough—however, I have never stayed at a motel or hotel or B&B that served breakfast for enough hours and/or late enough in the day for me.

I liked the view, the spacious parking lot, and how sociable/friendly the guy at the front desk was. We didn't get up in time to eat the continental breakfast but when we were checking out, it smelled great!

Bed and pillows(!!!) were comfortable. Shower was hot, clean, and modern compared to most affordable rooms. Good amount of breakfast options offered, and the location is walking distance to downtown/coffee shops.
